Spectrum Records recording artist Vini Ames has delighted countless thousands for more than three decades. His zest for performing is as strong today as it was when he first joined a rock band in the 1970's for fun. Soon, his leisure became his passion as he carved out a professional career.
Since then, Vini has earned accolade in many aspects of the entertainment industry. His talent has shown through in many endeavors. From leader and front man of a touring show band, to performing as a featured artist in Las Vegas, and from radio and television commercials, to film and theatrical productions, Vini encompasses all of the traits found in a true performer and showman.

As Featured Artist or Guest Artist, Vini will entertain with singing of songs, joke telling, and comedy routines, impersonations, and audience participation ala Las Vegas style show.

The length of the performance is adjustable.

Since it's inception in 1992, this exciting revue has paid tribute to the "Fabulous Fifties" and "Sensational Sixties", with great music, good humor and lots of audience participation. Dressed in Oldies Rock & Roll style with stage setting reminiscent of the era, Vini Ames & Sh-Bop becomes a musical time machine that will transport you back to those memorable days of hot rods, poodle skirts, malt shops and good ol' rock & roll.
These upbeat performers have shared the stage with several national acts including The Platters, The Drifters, The Crystals, The Elegants, Danny & The Juniors, The Coasters, and The Starliters to name a few.

As the show opener or as the featured act, Sh-Bop is a hit with festivals, fairs, concert venues, conventions, parties, fundraisers, nightclubs and class reunions, and is guaranteed FUN!
This 90 minute no intermission show contains music of the "Fabulous 50's" and "Sensational 60's" performed by band members in costumes of the era on a stage set in scenery reminiscent of the era. Audience participation is a hallmark of this show, with musical comedy skits and contests.
Performance time can be rearranged to include dance sets.
This high quality musical act is a sure-fire hit with audiences of all ages.
As the opening act, performance is generally 45 to 60 minutes, or at promoter's discretion. As the featured act, run time of the show (Concert) is 90 minutes with no break. For longer engagements, show time will be adjusted and dance sets will be added.

A lively party personally hosted by Vini Ames at any location. This party includes age-appropriate dance music, Karaoke songs ranging from nursery rhymes to current-day pop hits, also games and contests with prizes.
On-the-Spot Recordings of karaoke participants serve as party favors. Duration of party is flexible.
This is a favorite of children's birthday parties and Father-Daughter and/or Mother-Son school dances.
